random fact #1: i'm a dreamer... i daydream ALOT! i've sort of planned the important things and not-so-important things for my future. (This usually happens alot during class... haha) Important things like which school i wanna go like JCs and Unis.The JC i'll probably get into is SA. It's the most convinient JC for me, but to increase my chances of achieving my ambition, i'll prob have to go to one of those top JCs which is highly unlikely. The University i'm hoping to go to is none other than NUS. This, of course, is not a surprise to most of u 'cause i'm sure u guys would prob wanna go there as well. For me, I prefer not to go to overseas Unis if i can 'cause the living expenses would prob cost a bomb! Hmm... I'm not particularly rich, despite Tanya's comments abt my standard of living. And since i'm the third child, if any of my bros go overseas without any scholarships, my parents would prob b too broke to invest on me. Plus, i doubt i'm gd enough to get any scholarships, so i'd rather stay and study in the local U. If i ever get into the course i want in the local U, which is medicine, and this is very unlikely, i might volunteer to go and serve the poor people in Africa who are unable to afford proper medical services. Technically, this is not an original idea of mine. I sort of heard it frm someone. Other than that, i daydream abt my perfect wedding and honeymoon. Haha! okay... see what i mean by i daydream ALOT?! if u would read one of my earlier entries, i'm not sure which month and date, but i recall blogging abt my perfect wedding and honeymoon. Yupz.

random fact #2: I'm a movie buff. The funny thing is that 70% of the movies i've watched were with my parents or alone. Alone was when i watch the DVDs at home while my parents and brothers weren't around. I usually watch with my parents 'cause they like to watch movies too. It's the family thing that we do together, although most of the time my oldest bro won't be with us. Hmm... sometimes i notice that i can recognise some actors/actresses from other not so famous films even though their roles were as one of the supporting cast or cameo. This is due to the countless hrs spent on watching tv and movies. I shld prob b a director in hollywood coz i recognise so mani of the actors n actresses.

random fact #3: i hate it whenever i try so hard to fit in but am nv included. i hate being told to shut up. usually when ppl tell that to me, i'll get angry n ignore them. i seldom lose my temper. i can get really annoyed when i put alot of effort into something while ppl juz can't b bothered. i can get whiny/cranky early in the morning. i hav brokendown over pointless reasons b4. i'm normally a joyful person. ppl knoe me as a carefree and jovial gal. in my report bk, under the teacher's remarks, i'm saed to b bubbly and lively.

random fact #4: i hav a fear of heights. mayb this is due to the fact tt i stay on the ground floor n second floor. whenever i take d lift which is covered by glass, i wuld lik b a bit scared. i mean i'm not so extreme lik some ppl can b but i am alittle afraid. n sometimes i wuld imagine if d buildin i'm in collapses. i'm oso afraid of rollercoasters n spiders n millipedes. haha! i dun dare to take those rollercoasters dat go upside down n i'm easily frightened juz sittin on those normal ones. if there's a cam in d middle of those rides, u wont b able to see me in it, coz i'll b bendin my head so low that i'll b blocked by d seat infront if i'm not sittin in d front row. n i hate spiders. i loathe spiders. actually i hav an abhorrence for anythin that has more than six legs, coz i dun really mind ants. recently, i've also discovered my enmity towards millipedes as well.

random fact #5: i've quite a gd sense of direction. i'm alwaes d one leadin my frenz. hmm, if u dun believe ask clarissa. haha! i keep tellin my frenz dat if they're wif me they'll nv get lost. n actually, as long as u leave me at any mrt station, i'll b able to find my way back quite easily. hmm, n i think i'm quite streetsmart too. coz i'm quite daring n sociable so even if i was left homeless on d street, i shld b able to survive. hmm... ok... i prob seem quite egoistical now. i actually felt lik writin this coz i'm not really wad else i can write. so yah. but i really m quite streetsmart compared to some of my frenz who r lik country pumpkins. they wouldnt knoe how to go home via mrt n they tend to follow me when they're wif me coz they usually go wif their parents. hmm... for me, not really. i made my IC by myself. i din nid any adult supervision. k yah tt's abt it.

My new year's resolution is to score better next year.
Whether or not i'll have to work alot harder depends.
If only i could find a way where we could all not work that hard
but still score well in our exams, earn lots of money,
succeed in our careers, work out our relationships,

If i have 1 wish, i would wish that everytime i wished for anything, they will all come true.

If only there was a magical wardrobe in my room.
I would be in Narnia now.
The beautiful, magical world.
I might become Queen.
As i am probably referred to as a daughter of Eve.
I could escape school.
Escape homework.
Once in awhile,
I would probably invite my friends and family to join me there.
By then, i wouldn't mind not being Queen and letting someone else take my place.
Of course, i would choose someone as responsible as Aslan.
And not some power-hungry person.

oh n i hav this theory abt myself.
i dun blog tt often
coz i hate the hassle and i hate to put things into words.
hmm... tt's why i dun like to do compositions. esp for chinese.
sometimes compostions aren't too bad.
coz it's like story-telling.
hmm... i guess i'm the type of person who starts something for the sake of starting something
or coz other ppl do that and so i copy them
but after awhile, it can't last.
the idea is gd but i don't have the patience or discipline to carry it on.
it's like that for most things.
like sometimes, i decide to write a script of something.
but i won't complete it.
same goes for writing poems or drawing cartoons.

i don't want to go back to school.
but school is starting next week!!!
i have only touched less than 20% of my hwk,
i don't want to be given any MORE work,
i don't want to do any more past year papers,
i don't want to wake up so early,
i don't want to sleep so early,
i don't want to go for boring lessons,
i don't want these holidays to end,
i don't want to prepare for my O's,
esp my chinese paper in may/june.

Okay... now i sound like a spoilt brat.

If only i could turn back time.
Or speed up time.
I would have turned the clock to the last day of school.
I would have pushed time to my last O's paper.
To the minute after i hand up my paper.
When that moment comes,
I would think back of this moment and laugh at myself.
And prob miss my friends.
But until then,
I shall allow myself to feel this way.

Very soon, we shall all say goodbye to 2005 and hello to 2006.
I'm afraid to. Afraid to leave this good year.
2005 brought gd memories. hopefully 2006 will bring more.
I'm excited yet afraid of being sec 4.
don't want the stress i know evryone will put on us next year as we sit for our o's.
The big O. Everyone that has went through it says it's not as scary as it seems.
Yet i cant help not to believe them.
The saying time flies is very real. It flies as fast as a speeding bullet.
In a blink of an eye, it'll be gone.
The world will change again. And the things we know and relate to might be rendered useless or outdated.

Christmas came and it too will pass.
The song 'White Christmas' is not appropriate in Singapore.
So are many of the other Christmas songs like 'Jingle bells'.
Singapore is so hot, humid and bright.
Nothing like the Christmas described in these songs.
Endless numbers of Christmas parties and presents and decoratons and performance.
All these will soon give way to school and lessons and homeowrk and tests.

The Narnia movie was gd.
I love little Lucy. So cute and adorable.
So small, yet so brave.
Gd movie but i think it can't beat LOTR.

Camp is still on my mind... all that drama...
I was away frm the 8th to the 10th at LYNC camp. (LYNC = Linking youths N Christ, the youth grp at my church) It was held at the old junior school building of St. Andrew's Village.

on the first day,
we all assembled at church and played ice-breaker games in our groups. frm there, we proceeded to SAV in our grps. my grp, which was known as vine, reached there first. then, when we were waitin for our rooms to b ready, we played more ice-breakers but as a whole. aftrwhich we had session 1 n den games lik captain's ball n captain's ball except on soapy ground n wif a papaya instead of a ball. my grp rocks! we had to come up with a cheer. n the end we came up wif this :

durin some of the games, alot of ppl were really competitive. esp during the first captain's ball n the frisby game at sentosa on the 2nd day. during the first captain's ball, evryone were grabbing the balls from each other n pushing one another which was kinda irritating for ppl lik me who is small in size and as a result was constantly blocked by ppl whenever i got the ball. yupp. but it was still fun i guess. we also had session 2 tt night, which ended quite late. so we couldnt play d night games tt night coz it was too late by the time we ended. some of the guys were pretty rough. even towards d girls which is too ungentlemanly.

on d 2nd day, we went to sentosa n played games. mani of us walked out frm there burnt. sunburnt. my skin now appears to be slightly darker. some of my friends just look charred. we played a frisby tournament between our groups which turned a little ugly between my grp and another grp. k it's kinda late now so i gotta slp. tell u d rest another time.

sry sry for not updatin any sooner... sighs... been rather bored this holiday but too lazy to blog. been too lazy to do anithin really except mayb slp n eat. hai~ if i carry on lik this i'll become fat... urgh... i juz got a new com! usin it now... hehe :)

tanya juz sent me loads of smilies. all of d msn smilies she's got. which is ALOT! she counted n acc to her she has lik abt 150! siao rite?? yup.

2 daes ago, sunday, i had my first church service at the new QPP in the main cathedral grnds. it's really cool. big n spacious. n i also had my first usher duty too. actually our 9.30am service, which has moved to 9am, had their first service there lik 2 wks ago, but i had to miss tt coz i had a dance performance at paragon. den at nite, i went for a slpover at cheryl's place. kim, jo n nah(hannah) were there too. we kinda spent d night talking n doin our nails, manicure n pedicure, n watched d hot chick halfway coz most of us fell aslp. den yest, we went cycling at ecp. it was then when i realised dat i can really cycle for sure coz i was still wobbily b4 tt. cycling is really fun, but it makes ur butt pain aftr awhile n my palms n fingers hurt too. n immediately aftr cycling for a long time, it feels kinda funny when i walk coz my leg muscles get alittle wobbily. we actually alot. we went to the ends of ecp n back. it felt gd to overtake ppl when they're slower coz they walk. mayb i shld get a bike next yr or sumthin or for christmas. tt'll b cool. my bro already has a bike of his own but it may b too tall for me to handle. oh yes, i also fell yest n hurt my knee alittle. it's some scratches, not any severe deep wounds but it looks bad.
